Who Am I

Name the celebrity as clues stack one at a time

Category: Trivia · Players: free-for-all · Status: Beta

Who Am I is in beta — details may change.

Guess the celebrity from a six-clue staircase. The round opens on one vague clue (“Late-20th-century American athlete in a major team sport”); the host — or a gift — drops the next clue on top, narrowing toward the answer. Chat races to type the name, and the earlier you call it, the more points you score.

Gameplay

1
Read the clue

A vague opening clue appears. If you already know who it is, type their name — no command.

2
Watch the clues stack

Each new clue narrows it down — but the bounty drops with every clue that drops.

3
Name them first

The first correct guess wins the round and banks its points.

How the clue staircase works

The round starts vague and sharpens one clue at a time — so the reward is highest when you can name the persona off the least information.

Clues stack one at a time; the fewer showing when you call it, the more it's worth
  • One clue at a time. Up to five guessing clues stack from vague to specific; the sixth clue is the name itself, shown only on the reveal.
  • Earlier is worth more. A call on the first clue scores 6, dropping to 2 by the fifth.
  • First correct wins. Names match loosely — the full name or a distinctive part counts (“tom brady” and “brady” both win; bare “tom” doesn’t).

Gifts

Who Am I’s gift drops the next clue — it helps the whole room close in, and (like the host advancing the staircase) it lowers the bounty for the next winner. It’s off unless the host sets it.

  • Sending the configured gift advances the clue staircase by one step for everyone.
  • It’s cooperative: it never names the persona, it just reveals the next clue sooner — the round is still won by the first correct guess.

Scoring

  • Points are awarded by the clue step at the solve: 6 → 2 from the first clue to the fifth.
  • The highest total across the rounds wins; ties are shipped as co-winners.
  • Points feed the per-streamer tally behind avatar ring tiers. Wins are tracked per streamer.
