Ladder rungs

How many questions a contestant climbs from first rung to top prize. Shorter ladders are faster-paced runs; the climb always crescendos to the £1M top prize regardless of length. Safe rungs reposition to roughly 1/3 and 2/3 of the ladder. Min 5, max 15. Default 15.

Answer window (seconds)

Display-only countdown the overlay renders next to the question. Engine is untimed — you decide when to lock and reveal — but the countdown sets the pace for chat. 10-120 seconds.

Ask-the-Audience window (seconds)

How long the Ask-the-Audience poll stays open. Same caveat: display-only — the engine waits for `close_poll`. 10-90 seconds.

50:50 mode

Classic plays it straight: the engine guarantees the correct answer remains. Crowd hands the elimination to chat — they type the letter they think is wrong, and the top-two most-voted are dropped. Crowd can absolutely eliminate the right answer; that's the drama.

Queue-jump gift

Optional TikTok gift name that lets chatters pay to cut the line. The more diamonds a chatter spends on this gift, the higher they rise in the queue — and the next time the current contestant's run ends, the top spender takes the hot seat. Auto-enqueues a sender who hasn't typed `!join` yet. Leave blank to disable. Example: "Galaxy".

Gift lifelines

Map TikTok gifts to contestant-saving actions. Skip-question keeps the rung, double-down makes the next correct answer count for two rungs, instant-win solves the question outright, extra 50:50 grants another charge of the lifeline. Default mapping mirrors the show's drama: cheap rose to skip, mid-tier galaxy to double-down, premium lion / universe for an instant save. Clear the list to disable gift-driven lifelines entirely.
